The hotel is in the center of town, a 5 minute walk to the train station. Public parking is next to the hotel; after 6 pm it is free until 9 am. Coming from South East England, Växjö seemed, very, very, very quiet. Quieter than a Sunday during the first lockdown in England. It was not unusual to see no cars on a main road. Växjö and Sweden as a whole is very well organised. Hardly any litter, no graffiti, everyone very polite. Most people spoke English and were eager to help if we needed help. The bus service is excellent, the timetables are accurate to the minute. If you like peace and quiet it's a good place to go. This is by far the best place in the town's southern part near the campus. The apartments are spacious, unbelievably well-equipped and exceptionally clean. Everything is well thought-out to make your stay as comfortable and hassle-free as possible. They even deliver breakfast upon request. The price is relatively fine if you consider what you get for your money. In the summer you may enjoy the peaceful surroundings with sun chairs and common areas.
