Our room was exceptionally large and beautiful from a design perspective, the staff couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. The restaurant was also excellent, both wait staff and chef. A real highlight was the cellar.

Hotel Kozana is a perfect place to stay during your visit to Goriska Brda. It is located in a Beautiful area, within a walking distance from beautiful village Smartno. Our room was very comfortable and spacious, everything was clean. Staff was also very friendly. Included breakfast was very tasty.

It feels like being in Tuscany—yet it can’t be, this is Slovenia! In the heart of the Brda region, between Dobrovo and Medana, we found this accommodation. By the time we arrive, we’re already going from one amazement to the next—the road takes us through stunning countryside. We reach the given address and park in front of an almost new, very sophisticated building. The room is excellent: clean, tastefully decorated, and comfortable. Right outside our door stands a magnificent olive tree, and the view is simply fantastic. Breakfast is served by Jacob, the owner himself, at a table that makes us feel as though we’ve stepped into a five-star hotel. And as a farewell after breakfast, Jacob even gave us a beautiful flower! Many thanks for everything—we’ll definitely be staying here again next time!

Absolutely fantastic accommodation! It’s a top-notch place nestled among serene vineyards, and the tranquility is just what we needed. The view from our room's terrace was breathtaking—truly a sight to behold!     Dobrovo was a very nice area with some nice wineries, highly recommend Edi Simcic ~ Felix was amazingly fun. It was rainy during our stay, so we will unable to do ebikes, however this would be a great activity in better weather. Belvin was a nice restaurant nearby with grilled meats and vegetables, along with salads and pizza. Maravida House is a great Airbnb with a wonderful property (3 rooms) and a very kind and helpful host, Jacob!

    The room was bright, modern and plenty of space for 2. Comfy bed and the firmest pillows I’ve ever come across in a hotel (excluding Japan!). Breakfast was a mix of all sorts of plates, served direct to our table on the terrace, from which there was a gorgeous view. We enjoyed the pool for cooling off. Aneja was really helpful organising e-bikes (30 euros per day per person) and helped booking visits to vineyards. We did the peach cycling route from outdoor active which was 24k with a detour to the viewing tower.

    Lovely modern room, beautifully furnished and with lots of plants. Fantastic shower. Extremely comfy beds! Breakfast served outside, in a lovely terrace area (each room has its own private outdoor space), and was lovely (selection of meats and cheese, caprese salad, cereal, yoghurt, pastries, bread, fruit, coffee, juice). The location is good - walking distance to Medana and Dobrovo if you don't want to drive for dinner, and close to lots of vineyards.

    Convenient rooms for exploring this beautiful area. We loved being able to have a morning swim before heading down the road for delicious breakfast at the sister hotel. Beds comfortable.
