Turcianske Teplice is a tiny, but picturesque spa town.
Turcianske Teplice is a tiny, but picturesque spa town. It has an amazing large green park right in the centre, interesting historical buildings and, obviously, amenities featuring the town's renown thermal springs - a new Aqua park, old fashioned sanatorium, as well as a retro open air thermal swimming pools called 'Vieska'. Everything is within 5-10 mins walking distance, so there is no car needed for this trip. There is a decent choice of cafes and restaurants, good train connections, info centre and a couple of supermarkets. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing wellness break a train ride away, Turcianske Teplice is a place to go.Guest review byAnonymousSlovakia

It's conveniently located just around the corner from the bus station and 15 minutes to the train station. Rooms are small, and there's just one bathroom and shower, but this wasn't a problem during my stay, and there are nice, thick curtains in the dorm for privacy. At this price, it's a great deal.
