We had an amazing stay at Hotel Adam. The hotel is very well designed and the rooms are perfect! You get free snacks everyday and the free minibar is replenished everyday. The private pool is much bigger than it looks in the pictures. The pool temperature is refreshingly cool, perfect after a warm day in the sun! Our 14 month old loved the kids room and we spent a few hours there everyday. The recreation staff gave her small gifts each time they saw her. The hotel staff is attentive and helpful. Wall's was our host for the stay and made us feel comfortable from the very start. Nana and Queen from the reception helped us as well. Tia kept our daughter very entertained and really went above and beyond to get a smile out of her each time! The breakfast is delicious! There is a buffet as well as many a la carte options to choose from. You can order multiple things from the menu. Everything we tried was great! The restaurant staff is kind and gave us off menu options for our baby as well. The hotel is not too far from the beach yet far enough to be away from the party crowds. We can only recommend this place! Thai hospitality at its finest!

One of the best place we have stayed, the staff was really kind and look after every detail. The room was big, conftable bed, air conditioner, fridge, clean service and water every day. They provide breakfast as well, coffe or tea anytime. Fruits and bred. The location is good as well. 10 minutes by motorbike from the city center.

The couple who run this hotel are lovely and made us feel extremely welcome, the rooms are big and clean and the bed is huge and very comfy. the pool is nice and they provide shade around it which is good for kids. They have facilities to book anything for you and helped us print documents off. It’s a family run business and feels like a home away from home

The hotel was very clean, the room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The staff were always very friendly and had smiles on their faces when greeting us and the rooms were very well cleaned each day when we came back to the hotel after activities. Theres a 7-11 conveniently located nearby as well as a small supermarket - very handy. The area near this hotel is majority Muslim so hearing the calls to prayer in the evening was a beautiful experience and felt like another world. The only thing to note is it's a 20 minute walk to the beach from here but that was not a problem, just something to be aware of for anyone with less mobility. Overall I highly recommend staying here because the facilities for what you pay are excellent

I really liked the location of the hotel, it is away from the main hustle and bustle, with a wonderful view when you wake up. Also, the design of the hotel itself is really unique. I give the biggest plus to the wonderful owners of the hotel, who helped with all questions, rented a scooter, suggested beautiful places to visit, and cooked a unique banana pancake (you must try it), even when we were no longer staying at this hotel.

The staff were so welcoming and hospitable! After a lousy stay elsewhere, this was such a pleasant surprise. The property is beautiful, the staff were accommodating and brought us breakfast to our room (we have a dog and there are very cute cats onsite), we received help with our bags, recommendations about where to go on the on the island, plus an awesome pool.

    If you want the beach and trips from the beach to the...

    If you want the beach and trips from the beach to the islands do not recommend you go this time of the year. As three single travellers there were very few bars, lots of restaurants that sold alcohol but no bars you could sit at and have a chat only found four and three of those were a good 30min walk from the centre. Ao Nang seems to have changed a lot over the years and has lost a lot of it's character as it is now catering more for families, which is not a all bad if that is what you are looking for but comparing it with Hua Hin, or Koh Samui, it just doesn't.

    All restaurants and activities were near by or a short ride with a scooter. KoDam restaurant serves great Thai dishes and the same restaurant by the sea has a great view with the same prices as the one in Ao Nang.

    The strip of sand is overlooked by a busy road and shops. Very little shelter from the sun and on-shore winds whip up waves and churn the water to a very unappealing colour. Plenty of bars and places to eat locally - but very few truly "Thai" owned/run. LOTS of Indian restaurants! Ao Nang beach is a beach from which you depart to visit much nicer places!!

    There were many sightseeing opportunities I was unable to...

    There were many sightseeing opportunities I was unable to access due to my Muay Thai training event. If I return, I will pursue these options. The beach was near countless stores and restaurants. There are plenty of people to meet and things to do. I would revisit if given a second chance.

    It's a perfect outing for holidays, honeymoon or for what ever reasons. Can choose from high end hotels, or budget one. People around are friendly and helpful. Foods hunting are heaven, cheap seafood at night market any restaurants. Don't miss jumpa to island executions that you won't regards it

    The actual beach was not great for swimming.

    The actual beach was not great for swimming. At high tide there was very little sand to walk on and the beach was not flat. Water was not very clear, possibly due to grey skies or longboat activity. So Nang has many hotels and resorts either great pools as an alternative. Ao Nang is a great place to visit the Islands, Emerald Lake, hot springs or go kayaking in the mangroves. It is easy to get tuk tuks, taxis and grab cars and bikes all along the beachfront. There was a great selection of Thai, Italian, Indian and Mexican restaurants and lots of bars with extended happy hours. Make sure you have lots of mozzie spray, especially if you go over to Railay beach and walk over to Diamond Cave. We’d recommend paying for a hotel with buffet breakfast if travelling with teenagers as the food is great and tends to set you up an early dinner time. If you have children I’d recommend Ananta Burin hotel as it has several pools, one with a water slide and pool bar so the young ones and adults are easily entertained.

    I absolutely loved this hotel. The rooms are nicely decorated and the whole hotel looks very modern and clean. The location was amazing, right on the main strip where all the bars, restaurants and shops are, and a few minutes walk to the beach. There is a public bus stop outside the hotel which can take you into Krabi Town and other destinations along the way such as the fossil beach, the tiger Cave and more. I would definitely stay at this hotel again if I had the chance, and I didn't really want to leave.

    Firstly the staff were all SO lovely and helpful. Everywhere was so clean. The room was immaculate ..the bed was one of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in. The pillows were the absolute best .. ♥️ the pool area lovely and clean. Location was great everything you need on doorstep but also quiet, just a short walk to beach. I extended my stay here and will stay on my return to Krabi. Would highly recommend ☺️

    The location was right across the road from the beach. You could book your tours and get a long tail boat to Ralay beach for 100bht right across the road. The boats would leave from in front of the hotel. Easy to organise trips and in the heart of Krabi.
