    Ignore the name 'Ban Bang O' ...no-one knows why Booking...

    Ignore the name 'Ban Bang O' ...no-one knows why Booking has added this!!!!! The property is 'Wang Tabtim' but there is no English sign outside. Location: this is a MOTEL 2.6km from Surratthani railway station (which is almost 20km from the city itself) and over 1km from a small convenience store and single restaurant. The location is no problem for motorised travellers but others should ask for transport from the station on the special requests option. From Surratthani you can catch the 'Orange Bus' to Suratthani Railway station, Some drinks, including beer, are available on-site. The proprietors are superb, the room was large, clean and excellent value. Although the resident owners speak little English they have ready phone access to family who are fluent. I enjoyed my stay and would have extended but needed to move on.
