I was only planning to stay a few days at Alura Hotel… ended up staying more than 10 days! The place has such a warm and welcoming vibe, it felt like home. The rooms are clean, cozy, and fully equipped, just a short walk from the beach, with a partial view of Big Buddha from the balcony. What truly made the stay special was the atmosphere, the staff and other guests created such a relaxed, friendly environment that we ended up feeling like a little family. The team was always kind and quick to help whenever I needed anything, which made everything super easy. Highly recommend if you're looking for a chill and friendly place in Kata Beach.

Great place to stay.. The pools are the best for kids, we stayed in a family cosy room with 2 kids and they also provide a cot The room was clean and the housekeeping happened everyday. Staff were so polite and helpful, I don't remember their name but the guy Meaw Film helped us with fast check-out. I love the breakfast and also we used their restaurant, the staff and food were very good

Great, long and clean beach. Sadly, the sea was too rough for swimming most of the time, but OK for splashing through the waves. It occasionally calmed down in the late afternoon/evening. This was in low season, so to be expected. A bit naughty, the sun bed vendors required the same price (100 Baht) irrespective of how long or short a time you wanted to use them. I've no idea how (or if) they remembered you had paid if you went off for lunch etc.

Kata is a lovely beach There are some expensive hotels that are directly fronting the beach and so their staff clean the beach each day. Beach chairs are available but not so many that they cannot be avoided if you just want to walk on the beach. At the time of year I was there the main activity was surfing at the southern end with many people taking lessons. Some nice cafes right on the beach at the southern end which is the nicest part.

Our first time it was exceptional,the staff was great.Our room was the most impressive,especially the view of the beach from the balcony.Lots of great resturant around to choose from.Also 7/11 close by Easy to get around we did the night market zoo shopping mall.

It's a long beach, not too crowded, and quite clean.

It's a long beach, not too crowded, and quite clean. You can get a 2 chairs under the umbrella for 100 THB for the whole day, they even give you a hand broom to brush off the sand and a bottle of water. There is a clean toilet nearby which you can use spending 10 THB.

The hotel was nice, modern and clean. The front reception and pool area were gorgeous and well kept. The hotel felt like a peaceful oasis amongst the chaos of Kata Beach. They also had a very expansive breakfast buffet with some Thai options, fruits, breads and pastries and more. Also random thing to comment on but the hairdryer was great - dried my hair super fast in the extreme heat and humidity. I did not love Kata, or Phuket for that matter, but the hotel was at least in walking distance to the night market and some good restaurants.

Great position just a few minutes walk to both Karon and Kata beach and to all restaurants and bars, but you need to come up a bit so you'll really feel like you're in nature and far away from the road traffic and noise! We loved this feeling and the amazing staff that made us feel like home🙂 Also our room was beautiful and super clean, you get new towels and water/coffee every day and the view from our window was gorgeous! Thank you for making our stay so lovely, next time in Phuket we'll visit you girls for sure!

It is a lovely resort, with joyful, kind and dutiful professionals. It is located very near Kata Beach, 3 to 4 min walk. The bed was confortable and the bathroom was huge. Loved the pools areas! They also gave me very good recommendations of tours around Phuket. I could easily give them a 10 out of 10, but I think they can slightly improve the sweets offering of the breakfast (the savory side was amazing, with the eggs on demand and the local dishes options changing everyday).

Peaceful modern small hotel with a family atmosphere and comfortable rest. The place is obviously special because of the pool area, where there is a beautiful view, because of the restaurant, the kind but not intrusive staff and the very few guests, so we relaxed as if we were at home in our own house. :) The beach is a comfortable distance away, even on foot, but the view and tranquility are worth the trip. If you come to Phuket, it's perfect as a first stop!
