It was authentically Thai with beautiful decor throughout. Fantastic location on the waterfront. Gardens superbly maintained and spotless rooms and restaurant. From the moment we arrived till the time we left we were looked after with kindness courtesy and nothing was too much trouble. We had a delicious breakfast each day served in the restaurant overlooking the sea. We opted out of the room service breakfast as we wanted the sea view but the option of eating in your own room was always available. Food was excellent with great choice and served by happy staff who welcomed us each day with smiles and genuine kindness. The rooms themselves were spotlessly clean, beds so comfortable, hot water and a lovely drench shower in both our rooms. I booked the grand sunset suite and it really was exquisitely decorated with great air-con and fast WiFi which was needed as I work remotely. It was close to all the islands hot spots and we used the uber app to order taxis when needed. The hotel had bikes you can use and canoes which were all free of charge and available daily. It was a most enjoyable holiday. Over the Christmas holidays. I’d recommend the hotel to anyone wanting a holiday that was relaxing, in keeping with Thai traditions with luxurious amenities and staff who were just incredible.

Great family owned and operated place that is great value! it’s right on the beach, has nice breakfast, free beach chairs and a relaxing pool too. it’s small enough that every room is no more than a 30 second walk to the beach as well. The owner can always be found smiling and chatting with guests near the pool, amazing gentleman! We had a lovely time and should we decide to return to Cheong Mon, we’ll definitely return to Honey Cottages.

    The beach is beautiful and not over crowded.

    The beach is beautiful and not over crowded. We spent most of our time at Pi Samui for delicious food and drinks at the southern end. Loved watching the sea truck driving guest to nearby island resort.

    Nice beach, but not exceptional.

    Nice beach, but not exceptional. There are a few locals offering local handmade products, clothes and food. They're very kind, occasionally you can make good deals. Various water sports activities are available, as well as special dinner programs (e.g. with fireworks) at certain hotels.

    we loved taking regular dips in the ocean from the pool area. the water was super clear and the sand hard packed and shallow for quite a distance. we loved to walk out and float in the ocean looking back at the hotel.

    I have been in Thailand 30 days and almost finishing my vacation time here, I visited Pattaya, Phuket and the most beautiful beach I found is choeng beach, I went directly to the resort and the beach was amazing clear water and the sand just amazing, I moved my last days to Ban po beach and I regreat not staying my full 5 days in choeng area.

    It was a fantastic location - a short walk to the beach, cafes and restaurants. We caught the local bus/taxi to other beaches and Fishermen's Village when we wanted to visit there. It was so lovely to come back to our villa and swim in our own pool. I would definitely highly recommend this villa and would stay here again on my next visit to Koh Samui

    I came to Koh Samui because I am very fond of Thai cuisine, the hotel basically met my expectations, I say basically because I was expecting a larger selection of Thai food. Nevertheless, I am very satisfied with my stay. The wonderful staff at the hotel rounds off my very good opinion. And the beautyfool SPA !!! with wonderful staf.

    A family run hotel on the beach with great staff that would go out of their way to help , booked day trips and taxis from the hotel which were very good . Good food and close to a lovely cocktail bar and restaurants. No noise at night so very peaceful. This was our second stay so did not disappoint, we would go again
