    Great location. It was my first visit to the Golden Triangle and to be able to look out from the room at the Monument was a happy moment. Walk across to the temple and a short hike took me up to the viewpoint of the confluence of Burma, Laos and Thailand. We also booked a cruise up and down the Mekong at 6.00pm to view the developments on both sides of the river .. an eye opening experience as the Laos side is now very well developed. Beautiful weather for a cruise at this time of the year

    The location was fine and close to the event we were attending. The breakfast was a standard buffet for a typical 3-star hotel. The hotel is very old and shows its age.
