Koh Chang is a lovely island for holiday. Roads are trecherous to drive, but the views are stunning. Beachfront resort with a nice pool, you have all you need! A nice tropical island with white sand beaches, beautifull mountains, waterfalls and rainforests. Very civilized - plenty of shops, bars and restaurants for all kinds of foods and wallet thicknesses. Probably what most of Thailand was like 25 years ago - limited beach front developments and no ugly high rise. Plenty of local places close to the hotel to go out to and eat. Not too busy at time of visit as coming into the low season. Easy to get to from Bangkok via air or hire car with an excellent blend of nightlife and nature>>We checked out several hotels and all were up to speed on customer service and easy beach access. We travelled as a family of 4 adults and one child. The restaurants were top shelf with several sunset clubs offering DJ's and cocktails. The nature is accessible and taxi's can transport you to the best spots. Phone connectivity is great with 5G in all of the areas we visited.
