Koh Kood is a genuine hidden gem. The tropical beaches have crystal clear water and there are some great snorkeling spots if you look hard enough. Make sure you get down to The Fisherman Hut and mention Whimsical Tricycle to the owner, Tom. He will know what you mean. Enjoy! But keep it secret. Koh Kood was absolutely stunning.
Koh Kood was absolutely stunning. The beaches are beautiful, very peaceful, and not crowded like other islands. It’s a true gem in the otherwise quite touristy Thailand. The island has retained its charm and natural beauty. The only downside was the presence of many sandflies on the beaches. This is the place that is definitely for people who want a very quiet serene holiday. The people on the island are so friendly. The main, I will say resorts but think of them as little oasis’s’ Are spread over only half of the island, with beautiful beaches so if you’re looking for any type of nightlife (except eating out) this is not the island for you. It’s beautiful and unspoilt. You can only get around with motorbike / scooters and open back vehicles. The rooms are very nice and clean. Enjoyed the outside shower. Lush green garden all around - very well taken care of. Beach is nice. The resort is very well designed for relaxation but you can also use kayaks, paddle boards etc for free. Walking distance to another close by beach. Nice pool area. Food at the restaurant is amazing.
