It is a new hotel with modern facilities including air purifier and mosquito killer device. The seaview outside window and balcony is excellent. What impressed me most is the service attitude of staff, they are perfect. Always smiling and ask what they can do for u. The next time when I go to Samui I will still choose Bluemango

Fantastic spot right on the beach. The bar and restaurant are excellent too, if a little pricier than other places, but you get what you pay for. The Thai Green curry was hands down the best we've ever had! Location right on the beach was all we were looking for and didn't venture out too far as we only stayed one night. The staff were absolutely brilliant, really welcoming, helpful and always accommodating. There are a small number of rooms so it's quieter at night, but hopping during the day with daytime guests, nice balance. Will definitely stay here again.

Our stay at Villa Labaron was perfect. A beautiful room at a beautiful location. We were free to use the kayaks and the paddle board and the beach felt like it was our own private beach. We were served cold drinks and fresh fruit. The owners were especially friendly. The transfer that was supposed to take us back to the ferry had not shown up, and the owners were kind enough to drive us there themselves, as they were heading towards the ferry themselves.

Loved my stay at The Summer House. Its in a nice quiet location, very close to the Seatran ferry port (coming from Koh Phangan). The room was perfect for the one night I stayed, and the owners are super nice and helpful. Will stay again next time I’m on Samui.

This place is amazing ! The staff is very friendly, the rooms are large and clean and most have a sea view, the location is perfect right in front of the beach and nearby restaurants and shops with easy way to move to central samui, I come in Koh Samui every year and this place is one of my favorite !     I traveled around the island in taxis.

    I traveled around the island in taxis. That was really the only way to get around if you did not rent a bike or car. Many attractions to see such as waterfalls, temples, walking street for shopping, elephant sanctuary, big budda & Nathon pier. On my return I will take a ferry to a neighboring island.This would be easy from Nathon pier.

    we were lucky with the weather (we stayed there off season), the whole experience was amazing! good restaurants, activities,parties and all. whether you come with a group of friends (as we did) or as a family with kids, you'll find loads of things to do!

    Samui has a lot to offer for many travellers.

    Samui has a lot to offer for many travellers. We have been there many times already and do prefer the "small rainy season" (so, not high season). Everything is a bit more laid back, less overcrowded. We go for sports and recreation. For that, Lamai (the place we found out suites us best) is perfect. You find great food (seafood, Thai, also now some really good coffeeshops if you have a longing). While it is also ok for children, be aware, that walkways are somewhat overrated in Lamai. Pushing forward a stroller might become more of an exercise and costs some nerves too. The most crazy people on scooters are....yes - we "westerners". Never sure whether some guys want to impress the locals or just feel untouchable, but some are racing like crazy. Given Thai traffic is more on the careful side (using blinker!), racing tourists are a real threat to almost everybody. Sights of people with armslings and wrapped legs are not uncommon... All in all - hasslefree great holidays. Look for sportsclubs, Yoga, and great Thai food!

    First trip to Thailand, we wanted a beach experience, but away from the huge crowds at Phuket that we'd heard about. We learned about the Full Moon Festivals held monthly on this island, and others nearby. We also knew the show "White Lotus" was partly filmed in Koh Samui, so we wanted to give it a try. We booked 4 nights at a private Villa with a private pool a few minutes walk from Lamai Beach, and we learned 4 nights was not enough. We can't wait to go back!!

    I was there for 5 days mainly at a yoga retreat where I ate, swam, read and relaxed. I spent one of the days on a tour of the island to see the main sights - beautiful temples and shrines, which was well worth it. The yoga resort was a little remote - so needed taxi to get around the island. I'd look for somewhere a little more central for a future trip.

    There is a high pollution on this Island.

    There is a high pollution on this Island. Garbage everywhere and most tourists don’t care about and even let their own garbage at the beach. Big amount of traffic all day long. Backpacker riding scooter also when drunk or smoked weed. Many accidents can be seen.
