The island is great, just do not stay at the Santiva hotel it is horrible. It looks great… but the staff is a disgrace to thai culture and thai people. This is a very rural, very quiet island.
This is a very rural, very quiet island. There are no big developments, no nightlife, and not a lot to do except relax. We really only left our resort to go on day trips via boat (island hopping, snorkeling, etc). It's beautiful, but rough around the edges and about as different from The White Lotus as you can get. Great island to be on.
Great island to be on. Very calm atmosphere, nice beaches, much better than Phi Phi. If you want to go swimming, go to Lo Chak Beach (our favourite), or Loh Pared Beach. There are also some great restaurants.Guest review byMichalCzech Republic - 10.0

THE BEST PLACE WE HAVE STAYED IN THAILAND!! The owner and his family were so friendly and kind and could not help us enough. We hired a motorbike which was extremely well looked after and we were given some fuel too. There were laundry facilities for a small fee and complimentary water and coffee. The Pod we stayed in was immaculate and so wel built by the owner himself.
