    Must visit island in thailand. Must visit for atleast 4 days, serene islands, very less population, all essential and necessary things are available. Great experience. Laem Had beach during low tide, loh chak for activities, Loh pared for great sunset at the pier. Great food and seaside culinaries available at every doorstep.

    The island is great, just do not stay at the Santiva hotel...

    The island is great, just do not stay at the Santiva hotel it is horrible. It looks great… but the staff is a disgrace to thai culture and thai people. The people on the island are super nice and sympathic, just great as long as you have nothing to do with Santiva resort

    This is a very rural, very quiet island.

    This is a very rural, very quiet island. There are no big developments, no nightlife, and not a lot to do except relax. We really only left our resort to go on day trips via boat (island hopping, snorkeling, etc). It's beautiful, but rough around the edges and about as different from The White Lotus as you can get. Also, it's 99% Muslim, so no pork and no alcohol (except in restaurants) on the island.

    Great location and stay. Out of the world experience. The room was very spacious and excellent. Service was top-notch. Loved the beach and the restaurants. Spa was great as well. Overall worth the money.

    Great island to be on.

    Great island to be on. Very calm atmosphere, nice beaches, much better than Phi Phi. If you want to go swimming, go to Lo Chak Beach (our favourite), or Loh Pared Beach. There are also some great restaurants.

    THE BEST PLACE WE HAVE STAYED IN THAILAND!!

    THE BEST PLACE WE HAVE STAYED IN THAILAND!! The owner and his family were so friendly and kind and could not help us enough. We hired a motorbike which was extremely well looked after and we were given some fuel too. There were laundry facilities for a small fee and complimentary water and coffee. The Pod we stayed in was immaculate and so wel built by the owner himself. Not only would I recommend the modern in but the whole island itself it was breathtakingly stunning along with the pods.

    The location of the hotel is amazing and the outdoor area is really nice. The room looked great at first glance but it can be super noisy, the flush didn't work properly and some amenities were just missing. The breakfast was ok but everyone seemed a bit stressed. I think it's still worth staying there while preparing yourself that other places provide more comfort. The service staff is really nice and helpful. Don't miss out on the roti stand right next to the hotel ... They are amazing!

    A perfect place, right on the beachfront. We were two parents and two teenagers and got a two-story villa with a private pool and direct beach access from the terrace. Massage on the beach. Feels like Thailand 20 years ago – peaceful, quiet, and not crowded. The hotel restaurant is absolutely excellent, with a rich and indulgent breakfast. You can use SUP boards and kayaks for free. Simply perfect! The service and staff are kind and dedicated.

    This is the best service I have recieved ever when traveling in Thailand and I have been here 6 times. The «bungalows» are very cozy and the staff are wonderful. The owner does everything to make you’re stay nice and I am so happy I chose to stay at Resting Place. If you are visiting Ko Yao Yai, this is the place to be😁
