room and bed were huge and nicer than the photographs, so modern and spotlessly clean. towels changed and room made up every day and we were given extra towels to take to the beach for free. our host organised tours for us at good value and location is ideal. just off the strip so a little more peaceful. we didn’t have a sea view room but I’d say the view would be gorgeous. cheap breakfast in the restaurent attached also

    It's a pretty rustic, typical old Thai town, the locals are lovely, peaceful people Krabi Airport :-Be sure to have some baht notes if you're taking a driver or taxi to your hotel- there are ATMs at Krabi airport but easier if you have cash The Friday & Saturday food markets are great for Thai foods of all sorts Take a long boat ride from along the riverside - a couple of hours touring the river and surrounds for 50 - 100 AUD Riverside Restaurant and Bar us a good place for dinner Blu Monkey is great little hotel

    Our location was remote, so we only went into town once in 7...

    Our location was remote, so we only went into town once in 7 days. But, we tried to get into town an extra day on the bikes,.... buy got lost for hours. Dooh! Having said tgat, we lived where we stayed as it was so relaxing.

    Great town, a variety of night markets, primarily for food. Clothing stores consisted of lots of tshirts, some gift options and sweet treats. Great to look around/eat/drink. A number of hostels, hotels available and a variety of trips on offer. More local than other areas visited.

    I just love krabi-town......all these fancy shops - all legal, by the way - malls,Supermarkets with real "parmesan -cheese" and more......awesome restaurants and hotels , night-market etc.....it's always good for a few days, you should take your time and not rush through it........

    Overall very good.

    Overall very good. The island tours and entrance fee to some places are a bit expensive. Food, people and shopping very good. Got some good deals on clothings and towel at the small supermarket at Krabi town.

    The Krabi River Hotel is a great location, right on the river walk, whether you’re staying in Krabi for a few days like us or just passing through. It is a 10 min easy walk to any of the three good night markets. It’s a 5 min walk to the Krabi high speed ferry pier or Longtail boats. 5 min walk to 7/11.

    Nice comfy quiet hotel with friendly staff. Soft mattress and hot shower. Best night sleep we’ve had in Thailand. Water and snacks every day.Nice cabana to relax by the pool, with towels supplied. Bike hire and onward travel and excursions can be arranged at reception with Bo. If arriving late, bear in mind there is nothing open to provide food at 9pm. Breakfast can be had round the corner at Urban Cafe Workspace. But for great coffee 5 minutes walk to Tree Room Brew and Bake.

    This Hotel is incredible if you like to be surrounding for the nature and if you like a peaceful place for stay here in Ao Nang and also the people who work there are really friendly and the room is very comfy and have a lot of space. They give you a small breakfast at morning and you can enjoy your breakfast next to the mountain and have a great view of that. Btw I recommend you 100% to stay here… you’re not going to complain for the place, absolutely.

    If I am asked to choose 1 word describing this hotel, I will answer. Delight. Just a delight. Very friendly staff caring, not annoying, excellent location, bike rental within 5 minutes, daily cleaning is amazing. Excellent Internet. Even if I wanted to find fault and was in a bad mood, I wouldn't find it, I'm 100% sure I'm just delighted. Our answer to the question: where would you stay next time in Thailand ? Krabi and this hotel. Only here.

    I had a very good and comfortable stay at Green House Hotel in Krabi. The hotel itself is clean and pleasant, but just to note – it’s not located in Ao Nang. If you want to go to the food places or the main Ao Nang area, it takes about a 20-minute motorbike ride. The female staff were really nice and helpful, but it would be even better if the male staff could be a little friendlier. Overall, it’s a good and comfortable hotel.
