EVERYTHING. the room, the balcony, the view, the location, the breakfast, the friendly staff. Don’t let the steep climb to the room scare you away, the view from the balcony is totally worth the workout. Yes, you can hear long tailboats at night but nothing a pair of ear plugs won’t fix. to be surrounded by nature/hearing nature and seeing nature (lots of monkey visitors) this place has been the highlight of our Thailand trip. if you want an eco conscious stay, this is your place. also the water refill station helps save heaps of plastic.

Absolutely everything! We loved how each villa was tucked away in the jungle on a cliff or completely surrounded by tropical plants. Each was so private. Ours was the cliff one, not only did it have a beach and ocean view, but it also was deep in the jungle. So amazing. The food was epic! I think I had the mushroom soup 10 put of the 14 days we were there! Oh and the mango sticky rice...omg...I am addicted. Every day I had it. EVERY day! The staff were so fun and happy and loving. We would run into them onnthe trails, or by the pool, or at the restaurant, or the front desk, or wherever and they would just want to hang put and chat with you. See how your day was going. They were our friends from the second we got there. Just wonderfull people! The massage was really great as well. The skill they have mixed with the crashing waves on the beach, plus the added natural heat of thailand made for the perfect combination. We fell asleep in about 2 minutes. So amazing. The pool was really fun too. It has a water fall onnthe back and it's deep enough that you can actually swimm. As you walk into the pool ot drops by a put 3 feet or so, so it's perfect to just hang off the end and watch the ocean. At night the bats will come hang out at the pool with you haha. They swoop in and get a drink. It's pretty amazing to watch! Railay plaza is about a 15 - 20 minute walk along the coast where there are countless bars, restaurants, tattoo, snorkeling, shops, kickboxing, live music, nail, hair, massage, you name it! They got A LOT! My favorite place, (we went every day) was what we called "the cat bar". It's a normal bar with live music after 8pm and they have a family of cats that live at the bar. They are taken to the vet to get all their shots, they bath them almost daily to make sure they are clean, no flees, or anything the take very great car of them..the are 4 kittens! I fell in love right away.

    It is useful to note that there are multiple long boats and piers to access Railay. The safest route is to the east beach from Ao Nammao pier where you can safely park a hire car for a reasonable cost. If you don’t have your own transport, there are various options such as taxis. I ripped a pair of shorts at another pier which is not a great setup.

    Railay was one of my favourite locations during our month...

    Railay was one of my favourite locations during our month long holiday. We stayed here for 4 nights, I would have stayed longer. I loved the laid back feel of the town, everything is in walking distance.

    Beautiful spot for a beach holiday.

    Beautiful spot for a beach holiday. The landscape is totally stunning. Railay Beach is very touristy during the day though, since most boats from the mainland arrive on that side of the peninsula. I would recommend to spend some time walking towards the south beach of Phra Nang Beach which is a lot quieter and has some pretty amazing rock formations right in front of it.

    The majestic cliffs that meet the water are stunning ! Easy to get get boat to phi phi islands and other islands for a day trip . Great freash grilled daily caught seafood on the walking street . Get up early to enjoy this stunning location without the crowds . It gets too crowded mid day

    We had 3 nights here but in truth could have done 2 nights.

    We had 3 nights here but in truth could have done 2 nights. The staff are amazing though. We had a wary flight to catch from Krabi. We were quite worried about making it in time, but the hotel provides a boat and a van on the main Island to take you to the airport. This was not only put our minds a peace it’s also ran so smoothly. All in all worth a visit as the scenery is stunning, but we felt 2 nights would have been enough.

    Beautiful location.

    Beautiful location. Phra Nang beach is a must go to, simply stunning. The beach village is ok, not too much to do but coming to pick a restaurant at the food street. Being on a side resort watching the view was an amazing experience.

    This resort was located in a great position, right on the beach. It covers a large area from East to West Railay, but they have golf carts to get you from one end to another. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was great.
