    I don't remember the city of Satun...

    I don't remember the city of Satun... There is the Province of Satun. However, the city of Pak Bara is worth visiting, especially the waterfront and the nice (slightly crowded) cafes. The nearby "Mu Ko Phetra National Park" deserves special attention with a long jetty enabling a trip to the time of dinosaurs.

    I was there on business heading to Langkawi so only one...

    I was there on business heading to Langkawi so only one night then the ferry the next day. With transport there is a lot to see in Satun. A quiet little backwater coastal town that has a ferry to Langkawi. If I had time I would do more exploring. I ate at the local shops a donut and a coffee. Main meal at my room as I brought it with me in my car fridge. I did go to a excellent coffee shop before checking into my room. Satun is developing but in not way touristic, No crowds

    Good place to stay with your family on your vacation.

    Good place to stay with your family on your vacation. Good eating place around the area such as: Papaya Mom, Rim Lay Kitchen & Restaurant, Nava Seafood, Bara Roti and few other restaurants. You can also go to Koh Lipe for the stay and some other water activities.

    We just stayed here for a night and took the ferry to Koh Lipe the next day. The part of town immediately surrounding the hotel was dead at night. A 7-11 is close, as well as 4 street vendors selling some food.

    A really great place to stay as a stop over in Satun! I stayed here before travelling over to Langkawi, Malaysia, and the owners were both really helpful when helping me on my journey, with the gentlemen even accompanying me and other travellers to the ferry port to see us off into Malaysia and help us with the process! The facilities were great, and Satun itself was a really lovely little town with great street art and food stalls!!

    They really take care of there costumer and are very friendly. It's clean and you can see that they put some thoughts into setting up everything travelers need. I recommend this place and would come back if i need a place in Satun.
