Excellent location just inside the Medina. Variety of public transport options within easy reach. Quiet at night. Friendly English speaking staff. Shared bathroom kept clean with enough showers and WC to mean no waiting required. Nicely decorated central courtyard.

The stuff we’re super friendly which was very nice. And the hotel is located 1 minute from the train station which is perfect if you go by train. It is close to the main attractions as well and the neighbourhood has very good restaurants.

Excellent Hôtel for family respectful environment from tel receptionist the reception then all other Hotel staff ( Resto Cleaning and services) what I liked more is the welcome face and behavior you can see from everyone there that’s why even quality of residents / guests are respectful too for me it is a five stars for a family looking for entertainment but also respect and good service last but not least: very delicious food !

The all-inclusive formula has been perfect for us: excellent breakfast, excellent lunch and dinner with a huge variety of food for all tastes. Three bars where you can ask any drinks for free, umbrellas and beds available on the beach, great and clean beach with crystal clear water, beautiful and large swimming pool, 3 water slides, nice animation, comfortable rooms. Dar Lekbira was absolutely wonderful to stay at. It is even more beautiful in person compared to the photos, and it does a great job of balancing the traditional riad with modern amenities. There were lots of small touches like two teas (calming and digestive), rose water, and organic handmade soap in the room - the attention to detail made it special. I had a suite upstairs with a balcony, next to the stairs that go to the roof (a nice sitting area in itself). Everyone I met at Dar Lekbira was kind, personable, and helpful with any question that I had. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful - and slightly different each day. The location being in the medina is great because it made going out and about easy at any time of the day - very convenient. I would recommend anyone going to Sousse to stay at Dar Lekbira, as it definitely made my first visit to Tunisia comfortable and memorable.
