The best place in Turkey I have seen so far for vacations. Maybe because it is not typically Turkish at all - feels more like Greece. The quality of people there is really high. Very cute little town with beatiful houses and cute coffee shops and restaurants. The city has been commercialized and became more touristy over the years but no more than any other cute small villlage in Europe. There are many amasing beaches just 10 minutes car drive away. The in same day you can enjoy multiple different beaches, take a walk in the cute little town and even enjoy a good evening/night life.Guest review byekinTurkey - 8.0

Be prepared to spend $$$$$$ everywhere you go!! Uma Beach Club is the best beach club. Friendly staff, clean, great service and excellent beach. You pay a per person price to get in, we paid 700 TL per person. After that you can use regular lounge chairs and pay for everything you eat and drink or you can rent one of their lounges/huts on the deck with a minimum spend of 25,000 TL at our time of travel in July 2024. We stayed on regular chaise lounges right in front of the water and had fruit plates, buckets of water/soda/iced tea and lunch at the restaurant and paid less thank 15,000 TL. However, we did not drink alcohol while there. It was $20 for a glass of white wine! You also cannot bring in any food or drinks when coming in, you are searched. I saved the drinking for the evening. Also ESNAF is a great local nightclub by the marina. 2000 TL entrance per person with unlimited mezes, wine, raki or beer. Amazing experience! Alacati is quirky, easy to explore and wonderful to visit.
Alacati is quirky, easy to explore and wonderful to visit. It was however incredibly expensive, a small beer was over 200tl and a gin and tonic came in at at 800tl.
