All the restaurant staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The setting was magnificent and shops displayed their products enticingly. Gocek was lively when we visited at the beginning of September and livelier that I had expected, i.e. music from various venues competing with each other. Great range of restaurants and we had good food at all the restaurants we visited. Breakfast is a simple Turkish meal with as much as you can eat fruit, cheese, boiled eggs, bread, honey etc. The rooms are comfortable with efficient and quiet aircon. Bathrooms clean and modern. The staff are super friendly and the Turkish breakfast was very good. We stayed in the Garden Room which was very cosy. It's a short walk to the Marina where there are lots of cafes, restaurants and shops.
