Even the only attraction, the 25 minute boat ride, was only 15 minutes including setting off and tying up. No beach. No reason to be in Mersin. Mersin is not a touristic place. No sightseeings at all.
Mersin is not a touristic place. No sightseeings at all. Only the long embankment is beautiful. We stood in this city only because we need an intermediate stop from Kappadokia to Antalya. The hotel has recently been renovated and the rooms were very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful during the check-in and check-out especially if you want an invoice to be issued on your company’s name which is not always easy in Turkey. The location is in the city center: it is on the opposite side of a nice cafe and some small restaurants are nearby, where you can quickly grab something to eat.
