The transportation in Istanbul was excellent, but in order to use this transportation you need Turkish money, so prepare the needed amount. You can use google search to find the best route to take and which busses to catch and at what time. There is a lot of nice places to go in Istanbul, so it is better to plan where to go in advance. Such an incredible city to visit. As a Western, it took some time to adjust to the cultural aspect of Istanbul and Türkiye, but afterwards, you are able to cherish more this city. There is so many things to do and see. The mosques are incredible, as well as the palaces. The food here is delicious. We used public transportation to move around and it was so easy and safe to use. At first, it was disappointing for me because I expected a more advanced place, but after a couple of days, I liked it a lot. Food is great, transportation is good, many historical places, and a diverse culture. Sadly, the prices are too high, the tickets for places are insane, for example.
