Kas is a quaint, characteristic town but very hilly. Beautiful artisan shops in old town. Quality of restaurants was excellent. We did the boat trip to Kekova which was magical. Absolutely loved Kas.
Absolutely loved Kas. Beautiful little town surrounded by stunning landscapes, with so much to do during the day and night. Hope to go back! Very beautiful, picturesque city next to the sea.
Very beautiful, picturesque city next to the sea. We used one day for Sea kayaking to Kekova island to see Sunken city and Simena. It is worth to go one day to Greece island Kastellorizo and enjoyed Blue cave and swimming in Saint George beach. It is very close from Kas to Myra ruins and Patara ancient city, Saklikent gorge and its beautiful waterfall. There are a lot of beaches- both rocky and sandy, like Kaputas beach. And if you are lucky, you will see big turtles swimming right next to you. There are a lot of nice restaurants in Kas, but a bit overpriced comparing to Istanbul or Ankara. If you travel with a car, choose hotel with a parking place, since streets are very narrow and busy in Kas.Guest review byJanis - 10.0

We had such a wonderful stay at Tayla Suit in Kaş! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The owners are truly lovely people — kind, welcoming, and thoughtful. I had the pleasure of meeting both of them, and their warmth made our experience even more special. My daughter also made a new little friend, as she enjoyed spending time with their daughter, which made our stay feel even more like being part of a family. The house itself is beautiful, very comfortable, and has everything you could need. It was the perfect mix of home and holiday — cozy, relaxing, and filled with positive energy. I can honestly say this was one of our best experiences, and I would highly recommend Tayla Suit to anyone visiting Kaş. We initially arrived in Kas to travel on a gullet for 3 days which was absolutely superb. When we returned from the trip we stayed in Kas for an additional 3 nights, but I wish we could have stayed longer. One of the highlights of our time in Kas was a Saklikent Jeep Safari (Xanthos Adventure Travel). The full day excursion was brilliant. We covered a lot of ground and visited some really cool spots in addition to the Saklikent Gorge. If you plan to visit Turkey, put Kas on the list.Guest review byMichelleAustralia - 8.0
A bit touristy, as you would expect.
A bit touristy, as you would expect. Downtown you have a few restaurants with access to the sea/lounge chairs with umbrellas and food service. That was our beach time and very relaxing, with the wind keeping most of the cigarette smoke away. If you want to get to any of the other beaches, you will need a car or take the bus. Plenty of restaurants with great food. Filter them with TripAdvisor ratings, which we found to be accurate. If you want a quiet, peaceful tour of the sunken city, choose Xanthos tours. The rooms are well designed and they seem to be polished and cleaned every day. The pool area and reception is kept very clean and sparkling. The staff in the hotel were very nice and looked after us exceptionally. The breakfasts were the best in Turkey. The hotel is quite close to the activity areas in town, which is another bonus.
