The water show at 21:00 each evening was excellent Easy to get about on small buses cost 50p for entire journey. The older part of the town has some decent restaurants and shopping. The new quarters to the west are tourist "industry" purely. To the west is a smaller place called Icmeler, which is more cosy and less expensive. Some of the better resorts can be found there. Marmaris bay is a lovely setting, but very noisy during the daytime, because of the many people killing their time with motorized activities.. Could do with being a little cleaner the pool was dirty and all around the pool didn’t seem to get used due to this. The room was clean on arrival but only got cleaned once in the full week we was there this is including towels. We had limited water in the room, was cold for 4 days like really cold. Food was ok.
