Convenient place to stay if you want to travel to Taroko gorge. From Xincheng you can take a 10min bus to the entrance of the park and beat the crowds to do Shakadang at 7am. The room is basically a cabin inside a hotel so it feels like you’re in a hotel. Everything is clean, fancy, and modern. You can enjoy all the facilities of a hotel (except the pool). There are only 4 beds in the dorm which is great and I was completely alone on my first night there.

With only 1.5 km away from the nearest coast in Xincheng, Taroko Liiko Hotels boasts air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi throughout the property. Free private parking is available on site.

Front desk was helpful. Bus that goes to the major slights in Taroko National park stops in front of the hotel. Rooms were roomy and breakfast had a large selection of both Asian and Western food choices.

I like the information are useful. They provide the map and traffic around the hotel. Also, they have lots of food are very very very delicious. Stay here 3days. We had totally different foods.its awesome. The room is clean and quiet. Comfortable stay. Breakfast are different for 3 days. This is so sweet service. Room is big and spacious and clean but it is not modern. Need to climb stairs to room. Breakfast was bun, jam, banana glutinous rice and tea. Owner is two nice friendly old couple of Taroko tribe in their seventies. They are really courteous and friendly and told us about their Taroko life. The husband is a Pastor. The wife dress up my daughter in Taroko tribe costumes for us to have photo shoots. We had a nice time chatting with them over breakfast. Place is just outside Taroko National Park. Nice and cheap food can be found in restaurants nearby. The wife recommended a good and cheap eating place for dinner. Parking is free.

A good location for a stress-free holiday in Shunan, Taroko Mountain View B&B is a homestay surrounded by views of the garden.

I absolutely loved everything about this property. The staff were exceptionally kind, friendly, and helpful. The room was amazing—spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable.
