A non profit organization, doing wonderful job of keeping nature safe and educating people. The most amazing experience was the coconut crabs, I wasn't even aware of their existence in the world and they are huge and amazing(and scary at first). Beautiful island, never saw so many kinds of crabs in my life. Defenatly a unique and worth wile experience. Snorkeling was also great amazing big divers corals. Even saw turtles and black tip sharks. Staff is lovely, organized and candle lite secluded dinner for each couple....

The rooms are stunning- spacious and beautiful design. The bed was very comfortable too. The bathtub in the room was a very nice touch. The staff were amazing, always polite and friendly. The restaurant could also accommodate my gluten-free diet for breakfast. This was one of our best hotel experiences ever.

What an absolute gorgeous gem of a hotel in Stone Town. Truly authentic building and decor and incredible bedrooms. I stayed in the ‘Kate’ room which was utterly delightful. Beautiful private terrace overlooking the town, enormous bedroom (beautifully decorated) and an open-air bathtub adjoining. Super private. Gorgeous to wake up in the morning and open the doors and feel the breeze filter through. Beautiful bed linen and towels (woven locally) and handmade soaps. If you are into aesthetics, then this is the place for you. I can’t say enough to rate the hotel. All the staff were absolutely delightful and super attentive (as a single female traveller it was very much appreciated). The Manager was extremely kind and friendly. Also organised a fantastic private tour of the town for me which was brilliant. The rooftop restaurant is to die for. The best, authentic and freshest of food I have ever eaten.The taster plate experience with sunset and cocktails was dreamy. Amazing views and ambiance. Didn’t want it to end! The Secret Garden restaurant is also absolutely worth a visit. I attended on a Friday evening when there was live music being performed. Truly magical. Again, the food was just amazing and the staff all super kind.

Staff were friendly, right from the shuttle driver to housekeeping. They gave recommendations on recreational activities and facilitated them kindly. It was a brief stay but a wonderful one. The room was large and clean with a comfortable bed. The pool area was gorgeous and lush for an airport hotel.

All sightseeing in Stone Town are very close to the hotel (200-500m) Amazing Breakfast, so many choices, every day different. Very nice bar and restaurant, prices normal like in other restaurants in Stone Town. Friendly staff We will recommend this hotel to our friends for sure.

Our flight arrived very early in the morning, so we were already at the hotel at 6 o'clock in the morning. Initially they told us that we would have the room ready around 7 o'clock and that we could stay at the pool until then. They came back in about 10-15 minutes and informed us that they would give us another room with an ocean view, so we got a free room upgrade. The very nice room, on the first floor, with a huge balcony on which there were 2 armchairs and a bed, the view of the harbor is extraordinarily beautiful. Too bad I only stayed there one night.

    I stayed 4 nights with my 11 year old son on Chumbe island.

    I stayed 4 nights with my 11 year old son on Chumbe island. It was great to have time to feel at home and explore. Many visitors come just for the day and miss out on the lovely candle lit dinners on the sand, the crab walks and the overall relaxed atmosphere Great snorkelling each day. Fantastic experience

    This was a great introduction to the life in the islands.

    This was a great introduction to the life in the islands. We enjoyed snorkeling very much with a knowledgeable and safe guided private experience. The food was good and served in unique places each meal. My 14-year old and I made great memories together here that will last a lifetime!
