I loved the stunning ocean views, especially at sunset. The rooms are elegantly designed with a perfect blend of modern comfort and traditional charm. Excellent food with excellent stuff. The hotel gives you more than they promise. Friendly stuff always helping and guiding. The breakfast was best in my life. Greetings to the chef Lance Louise who is amazing person and talented. Also I would like to thank the owner and Amir who made our stay better than it was. The rooms are clean and well-designed. The hotel design is mesmerizing.

What an absolute gorgeous gem of a hotel in Stone Town. Truly authentic building and decor and incredible bedrooms. I stayed in the ‘Kate’ room which was utterly delightful. Beautiful private terrace overlooking the town, enormous bedroom (beautifully decorated) and an open-air bathtub adjoining. Super private. Gorgeous to wake up in the morning and open the doors and feel the breeze filter through. Beautiful bed linen and towels (woven locally) and handmade soaps. If you are into aesthetics, then this is the place for you. I can’t say enough to rate the hotel. All the staff were absolutely delightful and super attentive (as a single female traveller it was very much appreciated). The Manager was extremely kind and friendly. Also organised a fantastic private tour of the town for me which was brilliant. The rooftop restaurant is to die for. The best, authentic and freshest of food I have ever eaten.The taster plate experience with sunset and cocktails was dreamy. Amazing views and ambiance. Didn’t want it to end! The Secret Garden restaurant is also absolutely worth a visit. I attended on a Friday evening when there was live music being performed. Truly magical. Again, the food was just amazing and the staff all super kind.

The most spectacular place I have stayed at during my visit to Zanzibar. Did not realise the room did not have it's private bathroom upon booking, but that was not a problem at all, since this hotel is so convenient, clean and well kept. Local soap bars that were gifted to us was such a pleasant surprise, as well as delicious welcome drinks, incredible breakfast. Could not recommend this place enough, how pleased we were with everything.

A very good hotel when flying into or out of Zanzibar. We spent 2 nights here: one when we arrived on the island and one when we left. Among the positive aspects, I would enumerate: the very small distance to the airport (3 mins), room service open 24h, modern rooms, good breakfast

The building outside and inside is just magnificient with it's flair from 1001 arabian nights. The interior is decorated with a lot of attention to detail and just wandering the hallways you can discover many arabic-style antiquities. The staff is also very friendly and helpful, the pool is very clean, the breakfast extensive and the location unbeatable especially when you arrive by ferry as it is only a 2min walk from the port.
