Every detail was thoughtfully considered, from the delicious breakfast spread to the peaceful ambiance of the hotel. The location was perfect for us – close enough to explore Zanzibar’s vibrant culture but tucked away for some much-needed relaxation. Clean, nice staff, the breakfast is good. AC in the room, always hot water. Less than 5 min to the beach and supermarket. I felt super safe all the time. And the Paje beach is so beautiful, white sand and blue crystal clear water even when is low tide in the morning. I recommend this place.

The location is great. The pool area is always so clean and tidy. It's great spot for taking pics. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable. There's fan and AC. The restaurant has really good and fresh food. The smoothies are so tasty. Staff is educated and polite. They're helpful with their advices and so funny too. Lily and Meri were so nice to us. They gave small tips which were so much needed for the trip. Our flight was in the evening and they're so kind to allow to make late check out.

This was my fave of three hotels I've stayed in Zanzibar. The hotel is gorgeous, on the beach and the restaurant had some of the best food we ate in the island. Also next to other restaurants you can go walking. Personally loved the attention to details. Even noticed my birthday on my id and prepared a surprise in the room.

She was so warm and kind, and that energy carried through the entire staff—every single person we encountered was amazing. That level of attention gave the whole stay such a special and personal touch. The location and hotel itself are absolutely stunning—a true little piece of heaven. The design is beautiful, the facilities are top tier, and everything feels thought-out to perfection. And the food? Simply incredible! So fresh, high-end, and absolutely delicious. I especially recommend the Carbonara—it was outstanding. We stayed for five magical days, and leaving was truly bittersweet. But one thing is for sure: we will definitely be back! If you’re considering where to stay in Paje, do yourself a favor and book Lujo—you won’t regret it.
