It is such an amazing experience, different from anywhere else in the world I have stayed. The place is set on the beach and on the fringes of Jomani Forest so the monkeys come during the day and you can watch them up in the trees. Camels, donkeys and goats are around but not intrusive, plus cats, a dog called Dudu and amazing bird and lizards. You can watch the villagers walk past on the beach singing or going fishing, and in the evening playing football (very serious and they warm up with exercises first), The staff are amazing and so helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The food !!! they have an incredible cook! At dusk they come to ask if you want your room sprayed against mosquitoes and hand you a little rolled up rhyme wishing you well and give you two biscuits to have with your late night tea or coffee. I have never been in such a peaceful haven in Nature... I could have stayed forever!

Everything about this place is bliss. The location right next to the ocean is just wow. You are steps away from the sandy beach. We had booked a private pool bungalow and it was just exactly how we wanted out holiday. The staff are super friendly and always ready to help. A special mention to the sea food they have which is just too good and the rates are super reasonable. I would surely recommend this property be it families, honeymoon couples or singles travelling in a group

Paola is a very special host. She’s honest, smiling and very hospitable. She’s running the place with care and love. A small round common area where breakfast is served. A small pool in its middle (we weren’t using it though). Yummy breakfast: platter of fresh fruits 🍉 🍌 🍍 🥭 … plus: ☕️ 🫖 🍯 🥛 🍩 Some savoury options (e.g.: scrambled eggs, omelette) would be nice though 😉 Paola: best of luck in all your upcoming endeavours 💚

One of the best hotels in Zanzibar Uroa. Highly recommended for short or long stays. The Staff are best in the area Andrea helping you with tours/ practicals & Suma in the restaurant with a bright smile always. The food is perfect with the most affordable prices, and quality in the area. The owner cares a lot about the guests helping in any way possible to offer best experience for the guests. We were offered cold ginger orange drinks coming to the hotel, and the check in and check out was fast and smooth. You can get Taxi service by contacting the Hotel in advance. You have access to one of the beatiful beaches in Zanzibar with sea view and marvelous sunrise+sunsets. Its possible to take walk along the long beach of Uroa. Our stay was great, lovely staff, great food and very comfortable and clean rooms. Would recommend it as a great option for families with teenagers. The twice weekly dinners and the live entertainment, on the beach were great.

    The resort was clean and had the island atmosphere. Food was good and a variety to choose wwwith different restaurants. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Just a reminnder that you will pay extra at the airport for insurance fees and also extra tax fees at the hotel if its not included in your original price.

    This area has less tourism than some other areas in Zanzi...

    This area has less tourism than some other areas in Zanzi bar, it has what you need, different restaurangs, a super market, beachbar and so on. There is not so many other tourists here so you feel like its really a part of an small island. If you are looking for highend dining and alot of shopping then i advise you to look for another area or do as we did - get a car or a taxi its ok priced for a full day. The traffic was really suprising - its was better then most so called modern countries - slow, keeping distance -respecting each other - we rented a car for 3 days and it was super nice. We payed 30usd/day + 10usd for the local driving license - dont drive to fast or drunk - the police are really on there toes - and mind the big roadbumps... We ate a lot of lobster and fish - always fresh - never dissapointed, we also ate alot of vegetarian food - its everywere great dishes.

    The location was excellent.

    The location was excellent. The vegetation was very nice, and the seating places were very comfortable. Following my unfavourable interaction with cats, we were upgraded to a bigger room with an ocean view since I have ailurophobia (cat phobia). Thanks to the hotel owners for such a gesture. We had an issue with our bank card, and they also gave us more time during our stay to sort this out. Disliked · Being an Ailurophobia (Cats phobic), I did not enjoy the outdoor space because several cats roamed everywhere, including the restaurant, balconies and stairs. This has nothing to do with the owners but my personal condition. I advise those with similar conditions to avoid this place. Areas of improvement include breakfast - more food diversity and a balanced diet are needed. The beds in the rooms need to be fixed to avoid noise. Bathrooms need upgrading.

    Spice market was very interesting to learn and see how the herbs and spices we use on a daily basis is grown and cultivated. Stone Town has a lot of history and a spice shoppers paradise. Prison Island wasn’t bad, expected more but the turtles made it worth the visit.

    Very small quiet village on the east coast of Zanzibar, perfect for a relaxing romantic vacation. If some action is needed you can go to the nearby Kiwendwa, only 20 20-minute drive, or to the bigger more touristy areas in the north up to an hour drive. But to enjoy the island in full Uroa is one of the best places. And the best food! (we have tried in 5 different villages across Zanzibar!

    The tourism activities they superb I enjoyed nakupenda sand beach nd jet skiing in Kuwenda beach,and the stone town cashew nuts were very nice nd fresh, out of all the tour guide I booked for excursions with their services are wonderful we were able to get easy to our excursions places

    Amazing, magical place with the most heart-warming staff you will ever meet. Clean and romantic room, exceptional food and the best saturday night party in Zanzibar! This is the place to relax and enjoy peaceful, romantic holiday. Prices were reasonable and the hotel took care of our transportation and blue safari etc. Would definately recommend. The beach was absolutely beautiful and the massage we got was the best we have ever experienced.

    Amazing hotel and wonderful staff. We had booked a Garden suite and to our pleasant surprise we were upgraded to Deluxe Ocean View. Amazing room overlooking the pool area and the ocean of course. Very clean, just the occasional ant by the pool area. Beds are comfortable, all the food very good and lots of coctails to choose from. Would love to stay again.
