Poltava is a medium-sized city.
Poltava is a medium-sized city. It doesn't boast incredible architecture, fascinating buildings or unbelievable food. I ended up here by pure chance, but it turned out to be a pleasant one. The people here are very hospitable and kind. There are places with great food, there are cinemas and a couple of museums. But I don't see the point of staying longer than 3-4 days. Whether I would come back here again just for tourism is unlikely. Poltava is more valuable to me because of its historical significance, but no more.
