I have been visiting Abbeville for many years, and I have fallen in love with the place. Abbeville has a very subtle and quaint charm, of course, depending on where you go, but I like the small town affect, old school feel, and some places in downtown have some very great places to dine, once you find them. I just have to say, Abbeville is really a small jewel, with a great down south feel!! And just down the road, HWY 14 is Rip Van Winkle Gardens. Great history, great culture and they have a nice bed and breakfast. BUT, you have to love old history. Look into it, go see, and find the way people lived, back in the day!! Have a great time.
