The hotel was great, My Place Hotel.
The hotel was great, My Place Hotel. With rain in the forecast we did not go to Adventureland Water Park, instead found Altoona Aquatic Center and it was great. A lot of places to eat and we did that as well. Found a unique place called Sugar Shack that the inside is like an old diner and had a fantastic breakfast there. You need to change the policy that if a person has a handicapped room, through an agent, and the tv, air/heat would work! They can change if it doesn’t and the hotel can’t fix it! Stayed at this hotel for one night. Was greeted by a wonderful night staff. I mis-booked my room (booked a queen, handicapped room) and was given a king regular room. It was a modern nice room with a new bed and automatic lights underneath the bed that turned on when you walked near it, very cool! Would stay here again without hesitation!! Great place to bring children and family to stay and swim.
Great place to bring children and family to stay and swim. Nice restaurant with good food and drink. Very spacious and clean rooms. Rooms are great with balconies so you can relax and watch the swimmers. Nice safe area. Restaurants within walking distance Mc Donald's, taco, and even Jethro Barbeque. We have always loved AdventureLand.
We have always loved AdventureLand. We have been there 5 times. The park is getting more run down and you can tell the conditions are worsening. We won’t be back. They don’t even supply sunscreen anywhere in the park! Adventure Bay was really fun but we can find one just as good closer to home. Brick & Ivy Rooftop restaurant was great!
