Our beautiful room with more amenities than expected: 2nd bath, 2nd single bdrm, mini washer and dryer, sweeping living room opening up to expansive patio balcony complete with full furniture outfit. Gracious bdrm with awesome poster bed and roomy master bath. We spent just as much time on the deck counting pelicans, watching fishing vessels, and looking out at an amazing nature tributary. Pool and deck out our front door was nice, convenient. Friendly kitty duo wandered as they wished. LOVED walking to a nearby Oyster restaurant w/ casual atmosphere, entertainment. Or walk the other way and try their seafood! enjoyed meandering the quaint working fishing town. And St George Island State Park. Happily, I didn't need our furnished kitchen, with so many choices around town.

United KingdomBeautiful building. Rooms & bed were of a very high standard. All facilities worked ie; coffee machine, fridge, wifi, tv etc etc. The guy (receptionist) we met was in a sister hotel nearby. He was very professional and a great guy to deal with.

The tenant is extremely nice and helpful.
We couldn't stay for 2 nights as planned, unfortunately.

United KingdomBeautiful historic hotel in the picturesque town of Apalachicola. The room was beautifully decorated with a huge bathroom and tv and coffee machine. The staff were lovely and a special mention should go to Kassidy on the front desk who was so helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time in Apalachicola putting together a detailed list of all the best things to see and do. We managed to fit almost everything in the 3 days we had there. Particular highlights were the coffee and chocolate shop, the beach which is about 15 minutes away by car, the botanical gardens and veterans garden and also the owl cafe. We used the free bike rental to go and explore the areas around the centre and it really is a beautiful place.

GermanyThe receptionist checked us in quickly and provided lots of great information about the area. The bed was very comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was great. The WiFi was quick and constant. The inn is located within walking distance of Paddy’s Raw Bar which has delicious food!

Apalachicola is a very easy to get around.
Apalachicola is a very easy to get around. The vibe is definitely laid back! The location is fabulous! There were lots of interesting looking shops but that wasn't what we were there for. It was a great location for day trips to Saint George Island park and beaches, and the Estuary Nature Preserve on East Point. If you are looking for great seafood, go to some other destinations. Whether it is shrimp or oysters, the size and preparation are substandard for the price at most restaurants in the area. Love this coastal town.
Love this coastal town. Dawn Lee McKenna has made it famous with "The Forgotten Coast" series of books. They should name a street or avenue after her. Excellent food, fun and friendly people. Be sure to go to the Apalachicola Chocolate shop and visit Richard Bickel for fabulous photography. Love Lynn's Oysters but if she's not open the Blue Parrot Ocean Front Cafe on St George Island has wonderful oysters too!!!Guest review bySueUnited States - 10.0

I loved that this little town was a hardworking Seafood town with boats, and fresh catch available at its local restaurants. It was casual in nature, and had some lovely boutiques, antiques, coffee houses, etc around the town. I LOVED that this was NOT a "tourist trap" but more of an experience. St George Island State Park was nearby and was fun to wander about. We also took in a nearby Veteran's Museum out driving one day. Delightful.
Delightful. Particularly enjoyed walking with a printed tour through the old cemetery across from the Inn. The art and shops were unique. The strolls around the core area were amazing. The pride in ownership of residential and commercial buildings was obvious and appreciated. The churches and armory and historical plaques throughout the area gave one a very good sense of what was. This is a quaint working town with charming stores amid the necessities. It is walkable all about to find what you're looking for or to just enjoy. Being outside is a must! Loved the waterfront restaurants and the little candy, bakery, specialty shops interspersed throughout. The oysters were phenomenal! Jumping point to St. George Island and their trails and beaches. Carillon offered a WWII museum that deserves more attention. This is not your lounge on the beach type areas, but you can find THAT both East and West of here. Great little working town.
