The owner and staff at this hotel are all lovely. The lady who cleans the rooms offered us extra toiletries and did housekeeping even without asking. There was a good amount of towels, good shampoos etc, soap provided too and good hot water and water pressure. I loved the kitchenette and table to sit at. The television had good channels. I booked 2 different rooms and I was able to change with no waiting. I enjoyed their breakfast selection also. I also love the retro decor and the way the Inn respects its history. 10/10 a great stay, highly recommended!

the location was fantastic, overlooking the marina at Hyannis, and only a short walk to the ferry ports and to main street. this is such a peaceful spot. the room was spacious and comfortable with a really large TV and everything we needed. There is a lovely swimming pool to relax by after a day exploring the cape. the staff here are really helpful and friendly also. A real gem of a hotel and no doubt when we return to cape cod we will look to stay here again

The location for our quick 2 night stay in Cap Code was great, short distance to both east and west side, north and south. We stayed at 2-bedroom cottage and it was truly lovely. Breakfast was also very nice and highly appreciated. Bicycles were included and grocery store is super close.

We loved our stay in the freebird so much . We even booked an extra night . It's recently renovated and it shows , the rooms are so lovely , the retro style and 70s theme throughout is so cool and fun . The pool really made it for us and the bed was so comfortable! Staff are so helpful and great to deal with . We can't wait to return next year !

    We had a great week photographing birds, beaches, lighthouses, and landscapes. We visited Provincetown to Falmouth and towns in between. We even ventured out to Rhode Is. and Connecticut from our centrally located rental home. Although we were there in the slow season, we were able to find some wonderful restaurants serving delicious food! We were fortunate enough to see many Ospreys that had recently returned to the area to breed. We were amazed at how pristine everyone’s property was and how well maintained their homes were!

    Barnstable is on the bay side of the Cape and is almost midway down the Cape so perfect for day trips to the rest of the Cape or Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket. There is also a whale watch trip right at Millway harbor nearby. Lots of good shopping and restaurants nearby.

    The location is nice. It's just outside of the downtown of Barnstable and near the waterfront restaurants and Hyannis Whale Watch location . The place is quiet, clean and comfortable. The pool is nice and peaceful. We have stayed here twice now and would do so again next time I visit Cape Cod.

    This property came with all the extras necessary to make our first 3 days on Cape Cod perfect. It was centrally situated to access all the things that interested us. Very quiet, as well as lovely gardens.

    One member of staff wasn’t at all pleasant. Hotel is absolutely filthy. Side doors for entrance are broken so building is not safe!
