Our visit to Baton Rouge is yearly as we come and spend some time with my bro-in-law. We love the old world charm of BR, including the small streets and great food! Springhill Suites is not far from the action and close to every thing needed during our stays. Louisiana has great food and it's people are very friendly. We it enjoy it on every visit!!

We had an event to go to at raising canes and found the walk ability and cleanliness of the town very pleasant. We had perfect weather which helped a lot. Lots to see and do the two days we were here. Close enough to New Orleans that we spent a day there as well.

Great food, lots of eating places to try.

Great food, lots of eating places to try. Louisiana Lagniappe is the best, but you need a reservation. Many places to shop, but the traffic is difficult most of the time. We stayed in the College Drive area during the visit, did not have time to visit other areas.

I was there for work. Didn’t do any “fun stuff”.

I was there for work. Didn’t do any “fun stuff”. Louisiana is a beautiful state, Baton Rouge is a beautiful city - I’ve been there many times, but the overriding factor is TRAFFIC! I work many of the big cities in the South from Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, etc. None compare to the nightmare of getting around in Baton Rouge.

Nicole and Michael were great hosts and did everything to make our stay wonderful! The house is located in the oldest part of Baton Rouge. We had a nice walk after we arrived to watch the beautiful houses and had dinner at Cecilia’s Bistro for some great local dishes. Nicole prepared a yummy breakfast for us in the morning!

The breakfast was good and it offered a lot of different options that most hotels don’t have available. The room was comfy, I absolutely loved the soap and lotion collection. It was in a convenient location for everything we wanted to do during our trip.
