It’s brand new. Everything is clean and comfortable. The staff were GREAT and the showers are awesome. We actually stayed on the way to SC and on the way home we liked it so much. There is free breakfast and plenty of restaurants in the area to eat. I highly recommend this property.

The room was larger than expected. I was impressed with the attention to cleanliness of the facility based on the fact that there were several dogs staying there when we were there. Any accidents were quickly cleaned up.

The location and price were great, the room was clean and the beds were comfortable with new sheets, the heating A/C unit was brand new and worked great. The water was hot with great water pressure!

    What I liked most:

    What I liked most: Plenty of good hotels, food options, and shopping experiences. The New River Gorge Visitor Center was great. A walk around Little Beaver State Park was also great. What wasn't so great: The New River Gorge Visitor Center was great, but I found the rest of the spots on their park map to be difficult, if not impossible, to find. Marquee Cinemas, Galleria 14, Beckley, WV was OK, The movies are current but what bothered me was the ticket purchase process for new visitors. All the ticket purchasing areas were "closed". Somehow, we were supposed to figure out that we could buy movie tickets at the concession stand, which is something that I've never heard of or experienced before. Dunloup Falls was impressive but we arrived there (after a long drive through the countryside) to find some locals fishing in the pool where I wanted to swim. I didn't feel comfortable asking them to stop the fishing.

    Beckley is a place to stay if you want to explore the...

    Beckley is a place to stay if you want to explore the National Park but don’t want to camp. It has all the places you’d expect in a small city—restaurants, retail stores, etc., but it’s the history and natural beauty of the New River Preserve that draws folk there. There’s the third highest bridge in the US, an old railroad town, Sandstone Falls, and much more (like white water rafting). Getting around Beckley is okay, but make sure you trust your GPS.

    Beckley is one sister work town, 2 of us came from 4 hrs...

    Beckley is one sister work town, 2 of us came from 4 hrs away in Ky. We came for the Honey festival at the Exhibition Coal mine. That was a neat experience. We then ate at the Outback, delish! We headed up 19 to the New River Gorge Bridge overlook, WOW! The gift shop closes at 4pm on the dot! We drove on up to Hawk Nest overlook, another WOW! Hadnt been there prob 25 years. On the way back we found an ice cream shop, Yum! Then ended up at the mall 😁😜! We 3 sisters were back in our teenage days running around town enjoying our time together! Headed back to the hotel for snacks & more laughs & some rest!

    Room I reserved was not as advertised.

    Room I reserved was not as advertised. Front desk staff not properly trained to take care of problems. Trying to charge me $200 more than the price I booked and manager has not called me back to take care of the problem as promised. Motel is in need of repairs. Would never stay there again.

    Rooms were dirty, carpeting dirt & grease stains, furniture was scraped up, old like it came from a dump. the place smell Terrible like a foul stank. Im very surprised Super 8 would allow this operation to use there name and be in operation. I wounder if the health department there has ever been notified & Better Business ?

    Breakfast was good and had a nice selection, the guy was making sure area was clean and options were filled. Pool area was nice allowed kids to play for a bit before bed after long drive. The location of hotel is right off exit and had a good selection of restaurants to choose from.

    Hotel was in a great spot, close to lots of placed to eat and away from major interstates so it is quiet. Pool was big and clean just wear and tear on the finish. Hot tub was large enough for atleast 8 people, it was VERY hot compared to other places. Staff were all very friendly.

    When we arrived, Beach the front desk amazing. She was customer service exemplafied. She was amazing a so helpful after a long day of driving. With Bekah, the Microelectronics Inn could easily be the Welcome Center for Beckley, WV.
