I found my stay in Bethsida an excellent experience because it was easy to commute from one place to another. Restaurants, shopping malls, DC metro station etc were easily accessible. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is nice. I loved the water pressure from the shower and the view from my window. You will find staying in this hotel and area a joy except to remember requesting for your room to be cleaned daily otherwise, you get to sleep in an uncleaned room daily. The hotel serves only breakfast so be ready to find good restaurants around for your lunch or breakfast and dinner. Cleanliness was excellent, food was excellent, staff was friendly and helpful. However, there was no shuttle, the pool was small and unavailable most of the time, and when it was ,it was filled with children. No ability to stream new movies or selection. I always liked Bethesda, for its village atmosphere and wide range of shops and restaurants. My favourite restaurant this visit was Mon Ami Gabi, a perfect and authentic French restaurant (although the staff say they are concerned that a planned revamp will lose it some of its charm). I was sorry to see that some favourite stores have gone, Orvis on Wisconsin Avenue and the book store on Bethesda and Arlington. There used to be a Ranger Surplus store in Bethesda, now there isn't even one in Rockville......Guest review byshaneIreland
