I stayed in Biggs because son and daughter-in-law were staying at Deschutes campground, which was beautiful right by the river. We visited and ate lunch at the Maryhill Winery, spent a couple of hours at the Maryhill Museum, and visited Stonehenge. All except the Winery were childhood memories of mine. Stopping to eat my Mom's picnic lunch on the beautiful grounds of the museum while on the way to Portland, or if traveling on the Oregon side, challenged to see who could spot the museum first. As an adult, it's amazing as to the exhibits the museum has being in the middle of nowhere. The display of chess sets was my favorite.
