Fantastic location near a ranch in Tropic, about 10 min. away from Bryce National Park. Very convenient to visit nearby areas in Bryce National Park and Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. The hosts contacted us via phone messaging to make sure we knew how to find the place. We arrived in the evening; after texting them, they came out with flash light to direct us to parking and entrance to the house. We had the entire first floor of the house: large living room with full kitchen (just like home with every utensils and oven plus microwave), two twin beds in the living room area, one bedroom with a queen-sized bed, bathroom with super strong and hot shower, large closet. We did not use the TV but it has Netflix, etc. per remote. Wifi is very fast. The house is very well insulated so the temperature stays constant with the thermostat. It is super clean and has all the amenities - the hosts are very thoughtful about what guests need during travel. Overall a fantastic place.

The room was spacious and well appointed and maintained. Modern bathroom, including hairdryer. Good lighting throughout, low lighting options for evening. Very comfortable bed and pillows, quality bed linen and towels. Good outlook, easy parking and access to property. Reliable wifi. Good storage options and hanging space. Small fridge with freezer much appreciated. Microwave also good, we were able to boil water for tea & coffee. Loved the plantation shutters, however some people may be bothered by the light from the verandah lights that came in through the shutters (the room was never fully dark). Snacks were provided in the room (granola bars and fruit mix), but not tea/coffee - we brought our own.

    We spent one full day at Bryce.

    We spent one full day at Bryce. We saw the most spectacular night sky with milky way visible to naked eyes. It was very quiet and peaceful at night. We did the Navajo and queens garden loop which was around 3 miles and covered most of the canyon. Views from Inspiration point and Bryce point are the best. Sunrise at Bryce point was amazing.

    So many great views and very moderate difficulty hikes along...

    So many great views and very moderate difficulty hikes along the rim. We did not go down into the amphitheater, perhaps on our next visit. We had a day and a half, which was just right for the rim hikes and tons of photos of the beautiful views. Really spectacular views.

    A unique national park with many overlooks.

    A unique national park with many overlooks. If you are not planning on hiking, you can see the Park in one day. Strongly recommend visiting in May when it is not scorching hot and there are less visitors.

    Shuttle service was well run. Friendly drivers. We walked the rim of Bryce and found it an easier trail to see the canyon from above. We liked Bryce MUCH better than Zion. We stayed at the Bryce View Hotel, included breakfast. Really convenient and comfortable. Also, we attended the dinner and country music show at Ebenezer’s. Good food and a great entertaining show! Highly recommended!

    My top 1 NP amongst the 10 we visited during our trip! Atmosphere and scenery were stunning. The horse riding activity is fantastic as it offers the privilege to visit parts of the canyons only riders can go.

    Bryce Canyon is a one of a kind place.

    Bryce Canyon is a one of a kind place. One great thing is that there's something for everyone of all abilities. You can stay up on the rim, on the paved paths, go for a day hike or get back country permits for overnights.

    Great amenities (gift shop and general store) and restaurant. The Cowboy Buffet ($26) is good value for money. We stayed in the Lakeside Lodge (overlooking carpark), but the room was clean and large. Pick up the shuttle bus right outside for Bryce Canyon.

    The room is a bit dated but perfectly fine. Staff were nice and it was useful having a restaurant on site as there's not a lot of options around Bryce Canyon (we ate there twice and it was pretty good). The pool and hot tub were the highlights for us.
