    The area is gorgeous.

    The area is gorgeous. Cadillac is a place where two large lakes run right thru the middle of town. It has the feeling of Northern Michigan without the super long drive that usually comes with that. Just 1.5 hours from Grand Rapids, 3 hours from Detroit and 4 hours from Chicago!

    We were very pleased with our stay.

    We were very pleased with our stay. We ate at Burks Restaurant in Cadillac. The food was very good. Would eat there again. We also took a color tour to Travers City and the sights were amazing. We found it easy to get around but we really loved being at the house with all the beautiful views. Would recommend this for anyone.

    We actually didn’t see a lot of Cadillac.

    We actually didn’t see a lot of Cadillac. We stayed there to be close to Torch lake which was about 50 minutes away. Although our first day in Cadillac, there was an art festival going on, we walked around. It was really nice and found some great food too.

    We were just passing through and made a rest stop for the night in Cadillac. We had no time to see or do anything. The hotel staff made suggestions for several local restaurants for us to choose from for dinner. The Mexican restaurant a few doors away was excellent. If it wasn't pouring out, we would have walked over. Checked out next morning after an excellent hotel breakfast. Hotel location is an easy on/off the highway. Great place to stay. Highly recommend it!

    The beds were very firm maybe just a bit too firm.

    The beds were very firm maybe just a bit too firm. my husband had some trouble getting comfortable on the bed. the rooms were very clean and has enough space to move around. very friendly staff overall the hotel is clean and quiet. would stay there again for a short stay.

    Very clean hotel room and bathroom!

    Very clean hotel room and bathroom! Friendly staff at check in and check out. I asked for microwave and fridge and they gave it to me, however they didn't plug the fridge in so it would get cold for my arrival. The bed was very hard, the pillows were hard and flat, the bath towels were tiny and scratchy. The "free breakfast" was in their ice cold lobby area with only cold children's brand of cereal with milk, bagels with frozen butter and ice-cold cream cheese. I didn't notice a microwave until I was leaving. Hot tea and coffee available. Not worth the extra money to get free breakfast.

    You can walk to Mitchell State Park with dogs!! Charlies on the lake restaurant is awesome, and prices are great! There are "live in" people at hotel, but was really quite. There is a dock for hotel never told to us...just figured it out. Can swim straight off it.

    Breakfast was fine. This hotel allows dogs in the room, smell of urine was noticed, carpet needs cleaned. If dogs are allowed, take out carpet and lay vinyl to help the smell., easier to clean. Person brought a large dog into the small Breakfast area.
