I liked that the motel was located within close range to my destination. It was very affordable, no negative aspects. I was able to sleep without any distractions, and able to leave or checkout quickly, getting me on my way in a timely manner. This was not a vacation trip, I came to be with a friend who had a dying family member. Came to support my friend. I needed a place to sleep and this choice was perfect for me.

Cadiz is a very historical city & is located near Lake Barkley. I was impressed with all the things Cadiz has to see. This would be a great getaway for anyone that loves to fish and/or boating. They have several shops, plenty of restaurants. marinas with easy access to launch boats with a lodge & small cabins to rent and much more in this hidden city. Travelers going on I-24 would not see all the hidden places in this small town.

The little shops were super cute and staff was very friendly. We ate Harper House, Cracker Barrel and Wendy’s and the staff was friendly and food was GREAT. McDonald staff was not that friendly and food was ok. Farmers Market was great people and prices

    Watch the weather.

Watch the weather. Pools close when they hear thunder then don’t open even after it stopped raining. It was to wait one hour past hearing thunder. When after cleared up they were not open even the indoor pool. Hot tub was broken also. I appreciate safety precautions but that’s a lot of money to watch TV in the room.would have cancelled but we would have lost money because you have to have a notice or they charge you. Also already took off work. It’s a beautiful place.

It is a bit of a drive into town, but we knew that going in.

It is a bit of a drive into town, but we knew that going in. Don't come to Lake Barkley State Resort Park for things to do in town without expecting a 20 minute drive into town. There are plenty of things to do at the resort park that you don't need to go into town to find things to do if you enjoy the great outdoors. The views are breathtaking! The sunsets are amazing! The fishing is very good. We brought food with us, so we didn't eat at the restaurant this time, but be sure to ask if there is a mini fridge and microwave in your room. Ours didn't have either. Next time we might go with a cottage instead.

The room smelled so clean and nice when I opened the door. My favorite amenity was a list of TV channels. I had been at three former hotels on this trip and it was the first time I didn't have to scroll for hours through the channels! The door to the room was right in front of my parking space. So easy in and easy out with all my bags. My room had obviously been remodeled recently and it was beautiful.

My brother bought a lot in Cadiz that I came to help clear debris. I was there 4 nights & the location was very accessible for getting to & from his place. The staff people I encountered were very friendly!!! I will definitely stay at Quality Inn again when I visit my brother. The cost for 4 nights was reasonably affordable for me!

They weren’t serving food, which was not good, but because of that we went to an excellent place, Cadiz Family Restaurant.
