GermanyEverything was prefect! It was just wonderful and we would come back any time. The bed was comfy and the breakfast delicious. They take care of the lodge with love and with a special attention to detail. If you have an electric car, there is a charging station - very convenient.

It's very rare to get this quality of service, smiling faces and high standards, and it's obvious your staff is treated well, which makes all the difference! Loved the plastic slippers and bathrobe! And the hot cider...Liscia's massage was the best I've ever had!

CanadaThe location was great - only about 5-10min walk to all the wine tasting experiences and restaurants. The staff was incredibly friendly and approachable - they gave us recommendations on where to eat and went above and beyond to assist us in general. The pool is incredible on a hot day and the pastries were a lovely touch in the morning. I would definitely come back!

Carmel Valley is a little gem.
Carmel Valley is a little gem. Most people visiting Northern CA only get as far as Napa or Santa Cruz but they're really missing out. The wineries and restaurants in Carmel Valley rival Napa. Point Lobos on the way to Big Sur is a spectacular park hugging the cliffs. Nepenthe in Big Sur is not only historic but has a fantastic view of the coast. And of course there is Esalen in Big Sur.
