    Definitely plan to attend the Horse Nation Indian Relay...

    Definitely plan to attend the Horse Nation Indian Relay Races Championship in September. Visit Fort Caspar Museum for a wonderful presentation of Wyoming history as well as story of Casper. The River Walk is a great way to exercise in transquility away from bustle of city.

    The town was nice, clean, friendly people.

    The town was nice, clean, friendly people. Had everything you'd need. Enjoyed the Fort Casper Museum. Short visit but was enjoyable stop on our vacation. Ate at Pizza Hut, walking distance from Hotel. Pizza was very good!

    On the way to Casper is wide, empty spaces with nowhere to...

    On the way to Casper is wide, empty spaces with nowhere to stop so the drive was tedious. Casper itself was a nice little town but it was very isolated. There are other towns in Wyoming I have liked better, and we probably won't make the long trek to Casper again without a very specific need to go there. There were some nice little restaurants but they were very crowded and the downtown was cute. It felt pretty safe to walk around.

    Really charming town!

    Really charming town! They have some awesome restaurants, I'll be thinking about the meal we had at Egginton's for a long time! EVERYONE we met or even walked by was friendly! From Casper Mountain to the Platte River and beyond, it's really delightful.

    Construction was a little inconvenient, but can't be helped.

    Construction was a little inconvenient, but can't be helped. It was just a very nice area. Scenic, great shops, everyone super friendly and down to earth. Visited Rotary Park, which was really nice. Drove up the mountain and walked around. Ate at Branding Iron downtown. Great food! Burgers were fantastic! Ate at Hibachi all you can eat place (don't remember the exact name, but was by Dick's sporting goods in mall). Food was absolutely delicious and so many choices!! Walked around the river. It was just a nice place. Although signs were posted everywhere speed limit was 30 mph, everyone drove way faster!

    On this trip Casper was an overnight stop on the way from...

    On this trip Casper was an overnight stop on the way from Denver to the Tetons but it offered more than enough in terms of places to shop and eat. Very easy to get around. We ate at Perkins because I was visiting the USA and hadn’t eaten at a Perkins since long before I moved overseas but there was a lot to choose from.
