I came with three of my friends and we all enjoyed our stay. We booked this accommodation as it was nearby the Oakland Arena as we attended a concert over two nights. All of the staff we interacted with were very kind and helpful. We enjoyed talking to Anthony after our concerts. He was very friendly and professional, as we were the ladies behind the desk during the day. Our beds were comfortable, experienced no issues in the bathroom, the air-conditioning worked well and we all felt safe during our stay as female travelers.

    The front desk staff were great. The bed was lousy. The mattress was lumpy and uneven and uncomfortable. Also, the fitness room was not accessible as it was being remodeled apparently. I was never told that when I booked the room.

    Castro Valley is a good place to base any trip to the Bay area. We were visiting family that live in Alameda and Castro Valley was only 25 minutes away (on a weekend) and had lots of restaurants to chose from.

Breakfast was continental so nothing special but nice to have. Good location right off of the freeway and on a major road. Lots of good restaurants just down Castro Valley.
