Chickasha is a typical small town in Oklahoma. It's great at Christmastime with the Festival of Light. The leg lamp from "A Christmas Story" is now a year-round attraction in downtown Chickasha. Needs several upgrades, AC and heating system very noisy in rooms. Small older toilets. No security at building exterior doors. Anyone can enter from side doors. Should have guest key card to enter, not including main hotel entrance. Hopefully the owner will install new AC/ Heating system. I very much enjoy visiting Chickasha.
I very much enjoy visiting Chickasha. The streets are easy to navigate. There is plenty to do, great food available, and fun shops to visit. The park is super nice and fun for both my grandchildren and myself, nice walking area with pretty grounds. My husband and I tried a smoothie shop that was near the motel, super good smoothies there!
