It's a small town but if you're staying there you need to be there anyway or you're just staying overnight. Town has all the basic amenities such as dollar store, supermarket, laundry and a limited variety of restaurants. We have stayed here several times while visiting family in the area. Since our last stay the hotel has changed hands, but the staff was still friendly and everything seemed clean. The rooms are large but nothing fancy as far as furniture and whatnot. However I think everything is fair for the prices we have always been able to get.
