Very quaint! Lots of activities, parks, stores and history. I plan to come back maybe this fall and bring my daughter. Ate at an Asian restaurant for dinner, yummy, and had lunch at the local 50s diner, good sandwich and great ice cream! I thought I went back in time to Happy Days. Great shopping and friendly people. I love Dahlonega.

Dahlonega is such a beautiful place to visit.
Dahlonega is such a beautiful place to visit. We enjoyed driving around an taking in the serenity. We visited Helen GA and Ruby Falls while we was there. I wish we had a couple more days but we will definitely do this again in the near future.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

This was a beautiful town with a walkable town square (hotels, shops, restaurants, theater, ice cream shop, Gold (mining) museum, used bookstore) . Lots of nearby hiking trails, fishing, horseback riding , wineries and waterfall hikes all within a short drive of the town square. We really liked Dahlonega! Great place to go hiking, relax and unwind. There drive from Atlanta to Dahlonega was just stunning with the trees and plants blooming (Spring), rolling hills and fun curves. There are many trails in the area for various skill levels.Guest review byColleenUnited States

She was extremely helpful and went out of her way to show us all the main attractions and places to hike. Use the stables next to the hotel, if you plan on riding horses.
