This is a busy intersection town with popular highways and...
This is a busy intersection town with popular highways and railroads. The town doesn't look like much but people are friendly. We drove all around looking for a good place to eat. Most were closed already or not popular according to the parking lots. EXCEPT for X1T Smokehouse, Exit 10, on the outskirts of town. The lot was packed! But we only waited a few minutes. The menu was fantastic with good prices. The owner made sure everything was ok and visited a while. We will definitely return! At check in, they tried to attach a charge for our dog--despite the fact that we just stayed at the same hotel on 1/31, just 3 days before, with no dog fee.
