We were in Doylestown to attend a wedding and had never...
We were in Doylestown to attend a wedding and had never heard much about the area. We stayed four nights. The town itself is lovely with a mix of history and modern convenience-- fun for walking and dropping into shops. We drove less than an hour to Washington's Crossing for a wonderful museum/park in honor of the nation's pivotal moments in formation. We visited the Moravian Tile Factory and saw Fonthill Castle. The wedding was at the Michener Art Museum, an unexpected find. The art collection, inside and out, is well configured with a blend of time periods and styles. Truly more than one might expect in a town this size. For any knitters visiting the area, stop at Forever Yarn. Beautiful yarns and a helpful owner!Guest review byMaryUnited States - 10.0
A lovely small, PA town with lots of restaurants within...
A lovely small, PA town with lots of restaurants within walking distance to each other, lavender field, Mercer museum, and even a 'castle'. If you have the the time, I recommend at least checking out the Mercer museum, it was quite amazing.Guest review byHipChick21572United States
