    We were there for the uncorked event which took place right...

    We were there for the uncorked event which took place right next door to the hotel so the location was great. The hotel could use a deep clean the windows were filled with spider webs in the corners and dust. The location of the room was good, ground floor on the end. Within walking distance to downtown Tawas. Service in the restaurant and bar was hit or miss.

    East Tawas is right on the coast of Tawas Bay.

    East Tawas is right on the coast of Tawas Bay. It's on the sunrise side of Lake Huron. A friendly town that is very walk-able. Whether it's laying on the beach at the Tawas State Park or riding your bike around to the point, you can't help but relax and enjoy the weather and the people. (and eat ice cream ;)

    was close to down town and in walking distance of many venues. Hated the cleaning staff, we took care of most of our needs for cleaning except for towels and soap. All other needs we kept going to the front desk for supplies

    I was hoping to have the bagged breakfast, like on your doorknob you'll have a bag with coffee roll or muffin, cereal of some sort, one of those small plastic juices like cranberry or Apple or Orange. Lorna doone cookies, etc. Some hotels you'll let them know ahead of time and it will be delivered on your doorknob. Bagged Breakfasts with choice of juice/water. I think there was a mini snack coffee section though in the main lobby, but things are limited due to COVID, & that's totally understandable. I love it here.
