If you are a tourist and looking to visit the usual sites...
If you are a tourist and looking to visit the usual sites this location is about 11 miles from downtown. Be aware that traffic can be very bad. There is the train and it is nice but takes about 45 minutes to get to downtown area and gets very crowded especially during rush hour. You can park at the station for free. If you do not mind driving then it is okay as a base. The motels tend to be cheaper near here then central Seattle or the airportGuest review byJackUnited States - 10.0

Edmonds is a charming town with a lovely downtown area that's fun to explore. Pedro and Sophie's place is located in a quiet neighborhood that's a 20 minute walk from the downtown area. Enjoy the beautiful scenery and peacefulness of this home. It was so quiet, my partner and I had a restful, great sleep there. Edmonds is not Seattle but it is drivable to the waterfront and so many different grocery stores including Trader Joe’s. We picked up lots of snacks and drinks. Our trip to Edmonds was short and limited to family business - so we weren't able to enjoy all of what Edmonds and the Seattle area have to offer.
